This 10-title series teaches to NFPA© 1001, 1006 and 1670 standards. Vehicle crashes involving extrication are a leading category of response for fire and rescue personnel. Responding to these types of incidents is inherently dangerous due to traffic near the scene, vehicle hazards, and other safety concerns. Skills demonstrated review best practices in scene safety, operational procedures, use and choice of tools and techniques including how to mitigate hazards.
